The University of Bertoua took an active part in the Forum des Universités et des Grandes Ecoles organised by the Collège JEAN TABI in Yaoundé. "Jean Tabi Forum 2024" was the title of this major event. And as with every event, the aim was to inform students about current opportunities for higher education in Cameroon and abroad. More than 2,000 students from Collège Jean TABI and numerous secondary schools visited the stands of the fifty or so universities invited to the event.
The participation of the University of Bertoua not only increased its visibility, but also attracted a large number of students trained in the best secondary education establishment in the country, according to the rankings of the Office du Baccalauréat du Cameroun (OBC). The training courses offered by the 8 UBe establishments were carefully explained by the exhibitors (Dr MVOTO Thérèse and Mr AKOUE Henri Joël, both Heads of Department at the DAAC-UBe), under the supervision of the Rector, Professor Rémy Magloire ETOUA.
The students were given the opportunity to make informed decisions about study opportunities, taking into account their course of study and future career aspirations.
